Next Open Coffee: 5th October
Open coffee is on again on 5th October at KC Peaches on Nassau Street from 10am. As usual, we’ll be there until around noon.
KC Peaches is located at 28/29 Nassau Street, very close to the Pearse Street DART station and Grafton Street, so it’s easy to get to. Their coffee, pastries and food are all fantastic and healthy, too! KC Peaches also provides free Wi-Fi via Bitbuzz for your first 20 minutes in the cafe. We’re usually downstairs and in the room to your left.
There are a couple of free slots for anybody who wants to talk about upcoming events or demo projects they’re working on. Please get in touch or leave a comment below if you’re interested in demoing or talking. If you’re demoing, kindly remember that we don’t have an overhead projector or anything, so it’s very informal and best kept to about five minutes or less.

We had Mark & David from LoudMouth Media talk about their services. Specialists in paid advertising.
Anton from birbl gave us an overview of their plans to shake up how people buy online.
Shane form vroom digital talked about their SEO services.
John from careergro talked about their application to manage your career. It’s free for smaller companies.
We also had Miriam from superhands who run courses on baby sign language.

Big thanks to everyone who turned up to Open Coffee on Friday.
Regular open coffee attendee, Vicky Lee, who is working for the Science Gallery told us about an upcoming event in the Science Gallery for which she is looking for ideas. It is called Game and it will explore the world of gaming. Check it out and contact them with ideas.

There were two interesting demonstrations from new services. The first was Rescuez – these guys are trying to help people find their lost items, helping charities along the way. Check out their video.
Also showing off his new service was Vinny from SeenBefore. This application allows you filter your searches to sites that you have previously visited.
